Webb City Cardinals

Webb City football Coach John Roderique enters his 22nd season with his alma mater. Roderique has guided the Cardinals to a 260-24 record since taking the helm in 1997. Roderiques' 91% career winning percentage makes him the winningest coach in Missouri high school football history by percentage. Roderique has been named Coach of the Year multiple times, most recently by his peers in the Missouri Football Coaches Association in 1997, 2000, 2001, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012,  2013, 2014, & 2017

 

Roderique has guided the Cardinals to the Missouri state playoffs 19 of his 21 season as Head Coach, including the last 18 seasons in a row (2000-2017). Roderique's Cardinals have reached the Show-Me-Bowl (MSHSAA championship game) 14 times(1997, 2000, 2001, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017), winning 11 Missouri Class 4 State Championships (97, 00, 01, 06, 08, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 17).

 

Coach Roderique was enshrined into the Missouri Football Coached Association Hall of Fame in 2017 and the Joplin Area Sports Authority Hall Fame in 2016. 

 

Coach Mike Tarpey

Ladue Watkin Horton Rams

Mike Tarpey is in his eleventh season as head coach at Ladue. Tarpey had guided the Rams to a 95-37 since 2007. 

The Rams are in the second ever Show Me Bowl appearance, the first for Tarpey. Ladue lost 43-0 to Kearney in the 2003 championship game. Tarpey has guided the Rams to the semifinals three of the last four seasons with apperences in 2014 (class 5) 2016 and this season.

Webb City's October 25, 2012 victory over West Plains was the programs 600 win in history. The Cardinals joins an elite group of just a handful of program to reach 600 wins. That list includes Rockhurst, Jefferson City, Webster Groves, Sikeston, Chillicothe, MICDS, Columbia Hickman, SLUH, and Harrisonville. The Cardinals record from 1920 to present is 652-343-39 which ranks as the fourth most wins in state history.
